Senior TranServe
A new program to benefit seniors who are homebound in Brevard County. Volunteer drivers provide free transportation for all seniors 55 and over who need rides to doctor or dental appointments, or to visit loved ones in the hospital or rehab center, food shopping, etc. To volunteer or for services, call Langdon Brown (321) 637-1106, Carl Bowman (321) 783-5603, Gene Snook (321) 726-6465.

Space Coast Area Transit (SCAT)
provides the following transportation options in Brevard County:

Fixed Route Bus Service
SCAT provides public bus service on 19 routes, weekdays, from Mims to Micco. Weekend service is also available in some areas. Fares for senior citizens are $.50 each ride. Monthly and multi-ride passes are available. For schedules in information, call (321) 633-1878, or in the south mainland call (321) 952-4672.

Paratransit Service
SCAT provides a curb-to-curb service for disadvantaged and disabled citizens. For reservations call (321) 633-1878.

Contracted Routes
SCAT's bus fleet serves several not-for-profit agencies with contracted, demand/response service. The agencies served include Brevard Achievement Center, Brevard ARC and Seniors at Lunch. For more information call (321) 633-1878.

Volunteers in Motion
Volunteer drivers and escorts provide personalized service to frail and elderly eligible residents of Brevard County. To volunteer or for services, call (321) 635-7999.

Medicaid Non-Emergency
Coastal Health Systems provides non-emergency Medicaid transportation under contract with SCAT. For information or reservations call 632-7030.
