We are publishing final rules for the Ticket to Work and Self-Sufficiency program (Ticket to Work program) in the 12/28/2001 Federal Register. Under this program, qualified disability beneficiaries will be issued tickets they can use to access vocational rehabilitation services, employment services and other support services from approved providers. SSA will pay the service providers if the beneficiaries achieve certain outcomes.

Boggy Creek Gang Camp

The Boggy Creek Gang Camp in Eustis, Florida sits on 232 acres north of Orlando. Its 44 Florida-cracker style buildings include 16 camper cabins, a medical center, pool, theater and nature center. The Boggy Creek Gang Camp is a permanent, year-round center for young people with chronic and life-threatening illnesses. Boggy Creek provides a safe and exciting experience for children with more than 13 different diseases including cancer, heart disease, sickle cell anemia and spina bifida, as well as for children requiring ventilator assistance. Hugs are part of the daily fare of The Boggy Creek Gang Camp as the campers develop special relationships with each other and their counselors. Weekend programs, offered in non-summer months, provide a time for families to focus on fun instead of illness. Boggy Creek gives campers and their parents and siblings encouragement, understanding, laughter and the opportunity to comfort each other.

AIDS Healthcare Foundation's mission is to provide cutting-edge medicine and advocacy, regardless of ability to pay. Working to end the AIDS epidemic through prevention, research and advocacy. Providing the finest medical care. assuring that medically indigent persons infected with HIV have equal access to healthcare, partnering with other organizations in order to insure appropriate outreach and continuity of care, advocating for the rights of all persons living with HIV/AIDS. A particular emphasis on the most underserved, including women, gay men, people of color, the incarcerated and drug users, also advocating for equal access to healthcare for all persons.
